Through the platform of integrated applications and services, such as Power Apps, Power BI, Teams and SharePoint, the largest television broadcaster in Brazil gained agility and efficiency in Human Resources management.
There is no village in the interior of Brazil, no matter how small and simple it may be, that does not have at least one television with access to Rede Globo. The largest broadcaster in the country and among the largest in the world, Globo reaches more than 100 million viewers daily. Keeping this giant on the air is a complex task, which depends on a proportionally large number of people: today, the company has around 17 thousand employees.
Managing so many employees, with different profiles and needs, is a huge challenge for professionals in Human Resources and other related areas. Therefore, the company has worked to improve processes through technology.
“Globo’s HR processes were extremely manual and repetitive. We went through a review of each activity, each flow, to really check what added value to our business”, says Carolina Fernandes, Process analyst at Globo.
“We had a lot of use of emails and control spreadsheets that were not centralized”, adds the Information Analysis and Management manager, Bernardo Pessanha. “So we said: ‘what technology could we bring to give greater control and visibility, and that we could customize, that is, do it our way?’.”
Globo turned to OnChange, which suggested the adoption of different integrated Microsoft solutions. “Customizing a market solution is very time-consuming and costly. With the tools we have available in Office 365, we are able to assemble it like Lego, adapting it to each client’s process”, says Allisson Scalco, founding partner of OnChange.
